South Bend Form Tool uses the Double Sided Lapping process to achieve the highest level of control over flatness, thickness and parallelism on wide variety of materials.
The lapping process is a thermal distortion free process and is suitable for both ferrous and non-ferrous materials, heat treated steels, tool steel, castings, powdered metal die cast shapes, high carbon steel, tungsten carbide, and all materials listed below.
